Modern Warfare...

Yes, I'm referring to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. What a ridiculously cool game. I ended up playing for a few hours this evening and have to say that the graphics are stunning as is the computer AI. I have a bad feeling that this is going to have some impact on my sleep schedule or workout schedule, or both.  Oh well, stress relief is good right?

MacBook Aluminum or MacBook White...

It's that time of the month again where I start pondering what gadget I could buy that may increase my social networking and collaboration.  And I'm thinking that a MacBook Pro would probably be too much for me.  So really it's a question of a MacBook, a MacBook, a MSI Wind, or an HP NetBook.

Right now I'm leaning toward an aluminum MacBook, but the choice is a hard one.  My requirements are pretty much to have Office available (I already own a copy of Office for Mac 2008 Professional) and I own a copy of Enterprise for Home Use from my company for 2007.  Outside of that, web browsing and the ability to write articles for my blogs as well as to be able to enjoy a crisp user interface.

Thoughts?

A friend of the family...

The day that my mom passed away, one of our closest family friends told myself and my brother that this is when the pain becomes even worse.  I didn't believe her, my heart and mind still in shock.

Through the tribulations that have since transpired, my heart can only say that she was right.  The pain is far worse.  The hope that we have in the Lord only continues to increase...

Another day...

You know that your heart is hanging on your sleeve when someone askes
you at work if everything is alright.

Nonetheless, decent day of troubleshooting and working up a few blog
post ideas for SharePoint Dan.

Off to the gym here shortly to let my mind blow off some frustration
and anger. Good way to do it I figure. It's cheaper than beer and does
a body good.
